Concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience
The Cognitive Neuroscience program is offered jointly between the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Psychology. Through selected coursework, students strive to understand the relationships between mind and brain.
There are a number of options for Concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience.
- a BA or BS in Biology with a specialized minor in Psychology (Option A)
- a BS or BS in Psychology with a specialized minor in Biology (Option B)
- a double major between Biology and Psychology (Option C)
This specialized training prepares students for graduate training in Psychology or Biology, for career training options in law, business, physical therapy or rehabilitation.
The Bachelor of Science options are well suited for students who plan to go to medical school.
The double major in Psychology and Biological Sciences, provides maximum immersion in both disciplines with an emphasis on brain behavior relations.
