Research Interests:
Research projects focus on the biosynthesis of pituitary polypeptide hormones and neuropeptides. Current projects: analysis of posttranslational processing events in the pituitary gland of nonmammalian vertebrates; changes in posttranslational processing events during development; the evolution of opioid peptide systems in the central nervous system of vertebrates. Currently funded by NSF grant IOB-0516958.
